Something every digital product owner needs to know is how to build an army of responsive affiliates who promote your products. 1. Make your affiliate program as attractive as possible. Give out high commissions (at least 50%, up to 75%) and try to allow to affiliates to profit on your up-sells and down-sells too, not just the main product.

4. Create a 'buzz' product. If your product is 'hype worthy', you will naturally get a lot of affiliates on board to promote your product! Heavily market your product and make sure it has a killer angle to hook in affiliates and buyers in.
5. Set up an affiliate contest. Contests bring out the competitive instinct in people, especially when the prices are attractive. Consider giving out cash prizes, music players, and even television sets for your top affiliates if it justifies the cost.
